Leisure 20 sails

Post by Roger Crockford » Sun Mar 31, 2019 5:04 pm

Now trying to get my leisure 20 ready for the season and the sails, particularly the head/ genoa are looking very tired. I am interested in anything you have for sale.

Hi

The mainsail on all the Leisure yachts is not especially critical, its the foresail that does most of the work.

Its very unlikely you will find a secondhand sail in good condition. New sails are from around £300/400 depending on the quality etc.

All the best

Colin

Hi again,

Quay Sails make a lot of Leisure sails and offer members a bit of a discount.

All the best

Do they perhaps also ship out of the border. Mine sails are still functional but I’m afraid that won’t last too long anymore and therefore already looking for replacement.

The ‘cover’ which goes around the main sail when down, is it still to order new? That one is in a very bad shape and almost desintigrated.

Hi Guys,

Our Main Sail is also coming to end of life and we were wondering if anyone has a decent second hand one or is there any firm putting themselves forward as providing new sails at a reasonable cost.....?
